Professional Round Table
Our roundtables are designed to combine education and networking with allied elder care professionals on a wide variety of subject by experts in their own fields of practice.
Upcoming Roundtables
Real People, Real Stories: The Lives of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Elders
Since our office dedicates part of our practice to LGBT estate planning we would like to bring awareness and understanding to the issues facing the LGBT community and hear what LGBT elders have to say about their own experiences. For those of you unfamiliar with the LGBT Aging Project now, is your chance to learn what they have to offer.
The LGBT Aging Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender elders have equal access to the life-prolonging benefits, protections, services and institutions that their heterosexual neighbors take for granted.
Nothing educates an audience better than real people telling life stories. Please join us by welcoming members of the LGBT Aging Project Speakers' Bureau as they share their life experiences with us. We will all learn more about what life has been like, and is like for older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
When:
- Tuesday, February 28, 2012
